Registration and issuance of a visa for entry into Russia

To participate in the Global Digital Forum on the territory of the Russian Federation, foreign citizens or stateless persons must obtain a visa (business/humanitarian).
If there is an agreement, foreign citizens may enter the Russian Federation without visas. Conditions for entry of citizens of foreign states into the Russian Federation.
Before applying for a visa, participants must register in their personal account at https://account.gdfconf.com/login and receive confirmation of participation in the Forum.
To obtain a visa, a foreign citizen must contact the consular section of the Russian Embassy, the Russian Consulate General or the Russian visa center at their place of permanent residence.
Visa issuance will begin on August 28, 2026
The confirmation of participation in the Forum and the invitation serve as the basis for applying for a Russian visa.

List of documents

Passport (must have at least two blank pages intended for visas, its validity period, as a rule, should not expire earlier than six months from the visa expiration date)
Completed visa application form on the website visa.kdmid.ru (the visa application form is filled out electronically. In the absence of technical capability, it is allowed to fill out the visa application form in handwritten or printed form)
Two photographs 3.5 x 4.5 cm
Medical insurance covering the period of your trip to Russia
Printed invitation to the Global Digital Forum

Printed confirmation letter of participation in the Forum, sent by email after completing the registration

Instructions for Filling Out the Visa Application Form:

Step 1 – Go to website https://visa.kdmid.ru/PetitionChoice.aspx, select your language and the country where you will be applying for a visa. Read carefully the instructions for filling out the form in the blue section.
Step 2 – Create a password and verify the CAPTCHA.
Step 3 – Fill out all obligatory fields marked with an asterisk (*—full name, date of birth, place of employment, etc.). Please follow the instructions and hints while filling out the form. An example of a completed application form is attached.

Please also note that when organizing a trip to the Russian Federation through third countries, transit visas may be required. Please check the information with the consular offices of the countries in which you plan to transfer.
