Participant Guide Essential information for participants of the II Global Digital Forum Download PDF

FORUM VENUE

II Global Digital Forum will be held at the multifunctional venue “Mechta” in Gorky Park.

Shuttle transfer to the venue will be provided for guests staying at the official hotels of the Forum (Lotte, Radisson Collection, Plaza Garden, Golden Ring, President Hotel, Cosmos Arbat) daily from 8:00 am (Moscow time).

Parking

Parking near the “Mechta” venue is provided for VIP transport only, according to pre-agreed lists.

We kindly ask other participants to travel:

by metro — exit from Park Kultury or Oktyabrskaya metro stations;
by taxi without entering the parking lot — Gorky Park, 9 Krymsky Val St.

BADGE COLLECTION

The GDF badge is personalized and may not be transferred to third parties.

We kindly ask you to carry your GDF badge and identity document (passport) with you at all times when at the Forum venue. The badge must be worn in a visible place.

If your badge is lost or damaged, you should contact the accreditation desk. A lost badge will be blocked, and a duplicate will then be issued based on a written application from the badge holder.

GDF badges may be collected in person by presenting an identity document (passport) or by proxy (simple form).

Registration and issuance of a visa for entry into Russia

To participate in the Global Digital Forum on the territory of the Russian Federation, foreign citizens or stateless persons must obtain a visa (business/humanitarian).
If there is an agreement, foreign citizens may enter the Russian Federation without visas. Conditions for entry of citizens of foreign states into the Russian Federation.
Before applying for a visa, participants must register in their personal account at https://account.gdfconf.com/login and receive confirmation of participation in the Forum.
To obtain a visa, a foreign citizen must contact the consular section of the Russian Embassy, the Russian Consulate General or the Russian visa center at their place of permanent residence.
Visa issuance will begin on August 28, 2026
The confirmation of participation in the Forum and the invitation serve as the basis for applying for a Russian visa.

List of documents

Passport (must have at least two blank pages intended for visas, its validity period, as a rule, should not expire earlier than six months from the visa expiration date)
Completed visa application form on the website visa.kdmid.ru (the visa application form is filled out electronically. In the absence of technical capability, it is allowed to fill out the visa application form in handwritten or printed form)
Two photographs 3.5 x 4.5 cm
Medical insurance covering the period of your trip to Russia
Printed invitation to the Global Digital Forum

Instructions for Filling Out the Visa Application Form:

Step 1 – Go to website https://visa.kdmid.ru/PetitionChoice.aspx, select your language and the country where you will be applying for a visa. Read carefully the instructions for filling out the form in the blue section.
Step 2 – Create a password and verify the CAPTCHA.
Step 3 – Fill out all obligatory fields marked with an asterisk (*—full name, date of birth, place of employment, etc.). Please follow the instructions and hints while filling out the form. An example of a completed application form is attached.

More detailed information about the requirements for documents to obtain a Russian visa can be found on the website of Russian consular offices in your countries of residence.

Please also note that when organizing a trip to the Russian Federation through third countries, transit visas may be required. Please check the information with the consular offices of the countries in which you plan to transfer.
