On October 9, another signing ceremony for new Russian and international signatories to the AI Ethics Code will be held as part of the 2nd Global Digital Forum.
The tradition of international signing ceremonies for the Code at the forum continues to grow. In 2025, organizations from 22 countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America joined the Russian initiative at the Global Digital Forum.
Over the past year, the community of Code signatories has expanded significantly. Today, its principles are supported by over 1,300 organizations united by a shared commitment to the responsible, safe, and human-centric development of artificial intelligence.
Another outcome of this international cooperation has been the establishment of the International Expert Council on AI Ethics under the Commission for AI Ethics Code. Its members include, among others, representatives from organizations that joined the Code at the Global Digital Forum in 2025. The Council has become a platform for ongoing expert dialogue, the exchange of best practices, and collaborative efforts on pressing issues in the responsible development and application of AI.
In 2026, new Russian and international signatories will again join the Code. The ceremony will continue efforts to expand the international community of organizations that share the principles of responsible development and application of artificial intelligence technologies.
The AI Ethics Code serves as a practical guide for companies, research and educational institutions, professional associations, and other organizations working with artificial intelligence technologies. It enshrines the principles of human-centricity, safety, accountability, and transparency in the development and application of AI.
The Code remains open to new signatories. The growing number of signatories and deepening international expert engagement reflect the expansion of the community of organizations ready to jointly develop practices for the responsible and ethical application of artificial intelligence.
