The Chinese innovation sector welcomes cooperation with companies and specialists from Russia to promote joint projects in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). This was stated to a TASS correspondent by an employee of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a member of the UN Advisory Body on Artificial Intelligence, Zeng Yi.

"We are following how Russia hosts the international AI Journey conference every year. [...] As a Chinese scientist and practitioner in the field of AI, I welcome more [representatives of] Russian enterprises and specialists to come to China for cooperation and exchanges," he said at the Boao Asian Forum, which is being held in South China's Hainan Province.

According to Zeng Yi, the Chinese management model is somewhat different from the Russian one. According to him, under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Informatization of the People's Republic of China, when implementing these projects, it is planned to create special structures "in various cities and organizations of the country, at different levels" that will address risks. The expert noted that relevant global problems "always require settlement through international cooperation."

He also expressed hope for "the opportunity to work together with Russian partners to create new applications for artificial intelligence."
