Digital security is no longer the concern of a narrow circle of specialists — it has become part of everyday life, especially for children, parents, and teachers. To help society navigate the rapidly changing digital world, the “Cifrateka: A Library of Practical Knowledge” platform was launched. It brings together up-to-date materials on online threats and ways to protect against them — all in one place.
Cifrateka offers articles, tips, quizzes, and practical tools developed with the participation of leading tech companies — the founding members of the Alliance. Every item is reviewed by experts and adapted for different age groups to be as useful as possible for both adults and children. The platform is already actively used in schools, parent communities, and educational projects. Cifrateka materials have also become part of digital literacy lessons in several regions.
The initial topics for the portal were selected based on the most frequently asked digital security questions in Yandex search. This helped identify the most relevant subjects for users. The most popular inquiries included cyberbullying (33%), internet addiction (25%), gaming addiction (21%), and online fraud (11%).
In the global digital environment, safety concerns know no borders — just like the risks faced by children, teenagers, and adults. That’s why Cifrateka is now available not only in Russian, but also in English: https://cifrateka.ru/en/. This is an important step toward building an international knowledge ecosystem where everyone — regardless of language — can find answers to urgent digital safety issues.
The Russian version of the platform is also growing steadily: in 2025 alone, 35 new articles and 12 quizzes have already been published. Content continues to be updated regularly and is translated into English in parallel.
Cifrateka in English is a step toward uniting efforts in digital education and protecting children online — where language is no longer a barrier, but a bridge towards understanding and safety.
