About the presentation of the Global Digital Forum to the diplomatic corps

On April 9, 2025, the Russian Foreign Ministry hosted a meeting between Sergey Kuchushev, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, and members of the Organizing Committee for the preparation of the Global Digital Forum with representatives of the diplomatic corps in Russia. The event was attended by 92 participants from 63 countries, including 26 heads of diplomatic missions.

During the event, Sergey Kuchushev thanked the countries for their cooperation in the field of digital development and invited them to participate in the first Global Digital Forum, which will be held on June 5-6 in Nizhny Novgorod.

The Deputy Minister stressed that the Forum is based on a commitment to equality, mutual respect and a common interest in digital interaction.

Sergey Kuchushev specified that the event will bring together guests from more than 80 countries, including representatives of international organizations, ministries of communications, IT business leaders, scientific and civil society communities, and will become a platform for discussing global aspects of artificial intelligence development, bridging the digital divide, countering disinformation, creating favorable conditions for cooperation, signing deals, etc. agreements.

He explained that the Forum's program includes three main tracks. The educational track consists of anti-fake workshops, information security lectures, interactive modules on testing and protecting critical information infrastructure systems. The protocol track provides for the signing of more than 100 agreements, memorandums of understanding, and IT deals. As part of the business track, a high-level plenary session, expert sessions and round tables will be held to discuss trends and challenges in the digital environment and ways to respond to them.

S.A.Kuchushev also spoke about the impressive technology exhibition "on the margins" of CIPR, which provides an opportunity to study Russian and foreign IT solutions in real time. Interactive technology zones, demonstrations of digital products and services, networking and business communication zones are just a small part of what the exhibition will provide to the participants and visitors of the forum.

The Deputy Minister expressed hope for the participation of a wide range of representatives from foreign countries in the Forum and promised that the Russian side would provide all necessary support and assistance in organizing visits to the Forum.
