The 2nd Global Digital Forum will host a panel discussion on the impact of artificial intelligence on the gaming industry. The event is organized by the Association of Professionals in the Game Operations and Development Industry (APRIORI). The session will be moderated by Alexander Yegorov, a representative of the VK Play team.
The gaming sphere was chosen as the central topic for a reason: generative AI now plays a part in almost every stage of production. Neural networks help create concepts, texts, visuals, code, and related content. The key question for the discussion will be the role of humans in this new reality.
“When content production becomes faster and cheaper, the idea, taste, author’s intent, and the ability to understand for whom the product is being created become especially important,” Alexander Yegorov said.
During the discussion, participants will also address copyright issues in human–neural network collaboration, along with the protection of intellectual property and the visual identity of game projects.
