The program "Space of Truth: New Media, Technologies, Fact-Checking" focuses on developing skills for navigating the digital information landscape. Participants will explore modern media formats, data verification tools, methods to counter disinformation, and the ethics of digital journalism.

Blitz programming tournament
We invite pupils, university students and IT-experts, who are interested in programming.
The competition is held on entry-level tasks and will combine intellectual competition and speed typing skills.

Entertaining lecture and game: "STUDY THE INTERNET – GOVERN IT!"
The quiz “Learn the Internet - Control it!” - is a fun way to improve digital literacy in a game format. By answering questions, participants learn interesting facts about the Internet and digital technologies, expanding their knowledge in an easy and accessible way.

International Internet Security School for Youth. GDF
In the framework of GDF we are glad to announce “International Internet Security School for Youth”.
The school will be held in the interactive form including educational and project modules by well-known Russian experts. The participants will have a chance to pitch their project in front of the jury and compete for a prize!

The bright side of power: introduction to white hacking
This workshop is targeting students of IT academic programs and computer science, as well as high school students keen on this area of interest. At the workshop participants will gain the comprehensive theoretical background necessary for their further development, as well as practical training under the guidance of a practicing white hackers.

Critical thinking in social media: how Africa's new media counters myths about Russia
Critical thinking in social media: how Africa's new media counters myths about Russia" section includes an analysis of Russia's image in Africa's media sphere with invited experts, a discussion on distorted perceptions of Russia with participation of African bloggers and journalists, and a brainstorming session to compile a final list of false narratives. Following the event, participants will be able to answer what imposed scenarios hinder Russian-African cooperation and how independent experts can distance themselves from them. During the section, guest artists from Mali will sketch a caricature reflecting fake stories about Russia in social media, based on participants' key arguments.
